Welcome to Deeside Badminton Club

Deeside Badminton Club was originally called Hawarden Bridge Badminton Club where it played in a single court hall above the Co-Op shop in Queensferry. The club moved from there to the St Johns Ambulance HQ in Queensferry and then on to Wepre Church Hall in Connah's Quay. With the construction of Deeside Leisure Centre in 1971 the club then moved to it and the management of the Leisure Centre persuaded the club to change its name to Deeside Leisure Centre Badminton Club.

We host four teams: two in the Flintshire League in the 1st and 3rd Divisions; and two in the Chester & District League in the 1st and 3rd Divisions.

Our match and club night is on a Wednesday and anybody is welcome to come down and join us whether its just for fun or for some serious competitive games. We cater for all skills and ages and welcome all!
